We love chicken cacciatore! Not only is it easy to make, but it freezes well. Cacciatore literally means hunter. In culinary terms this means “hunter style” which is chunky tomatoes, onions, and herbs cooked together. Wine is typically added as well at chicken or other meat. Your sauce should be thick and hearty.
