I was browsing threw a magazine I had gotten through a fundraiser from my sons school. As I was perusing the magazine a mixed nut mix recipe grabbed my eye. In this mix it had bacon and cracked black pepper. The cashews where also slightly caramelized. So in my mind I figured sweet and salty which is one of my favorite food combinations. So I quickly ripped the recipe page from the magazine and placed in on my fridge to remember to get the ingredients needed for the recipe on my next trip to the grocery store.
