Hi Dave - I met you at Hippocrates Health Institute many years ago in the mid-nineties when you were the chef there!!! I am contemplating getting bariatric surgery in NYC (my weight has spiraled out of control) at the bariatric facility they gave me various websites to look at at and I was totally shocked to see YOU on one of them!!! I am so happy for you and your success - unbelievable awe inspiring.

I was thumbing through my Edmond Monthly when I ran across your recipe for Chicken Valencia. The picture of the dish caught my eye. I read the recipe, and thought this is something I can do, so I added all the ingredients to my shopping list. Dinner rolled around last night and I decided to whip it up. My son came rolling through the kitchen and asked what I was making. I told him to look at the magazine, and he said, “Mom, that’s Chef Dave!”
